PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND WORKING SCHEDULE

Passportless Travel in the World of eTwinning

With this project, students will have the opportunity to get to know the lives and cultures of people not only in their own country but also in different parts of the world. At the same time, they will interact with students in different countries, make friends and create a global network.

Purpose

The main purpose of the "Passportless Travel in the World of eTwinning" project is to provide students with a learning experience that knows no boundaries in the digital environment, to discover different cultures and develop global citizenship awareness. Thanks to this project, students will communicate with schools in different countries in the virtual environment, develop joint projects and have the opportunity to learn different perspectives.

Goals

The aim is to develop students' feelings of respect and tolerance towards different cultures, increase students' skills in using digital tools effectively, develop students' skills in collaborating with students in different countries and establishing effective communication, create a global perspective in students and raise individuals who are sensitive to different problems of the world.

Therefore; Raising innovative and open generations,

Students are expected to exhibit behaviors of responsibility, sharing, cooperation, patriotism, compassion and sensitivity,

Students from different countries are expected to exchange information and use their foreign languages ​​effectively,

Develop their creative thinking skills and learn to work as a team,

Get to know Web2.0 tools and use technology actively, and develop interdisciplinary development and application skills with information tools.

Expected Results

The results expected are that students will become more open-minded and tolerant towards cultural diversity, students will develop communication, cooperation and problem-solving skills, students will have a stronger sense of belonging to their own culture, international cooperation between schools will increase, and teachers will have enriched their pedagogical approaches.

The project is expected to produce collective and original products. In this project, which we set out with this perspective, different activity examples, joint products and collaborative products will emerge from the students' perspective. Students will have the opportunity to develop their technological skills with the web2.0 tools they will use in their studies. As a result of the project, the original products produced by the students will be turned into an e-book.

Project Schedule: Students will realize the products specified in the project work schedule under the leadership of their guidance teachers. The founding partners will act in cooperation and work in accordance with the determined schedule.

Project Duration: November 2024-May 2025

Obtaining signed parental permission forms,

Making the introduction news of the project on official and social platforms,

Including students in the project work process and giving students passwords,

Establishing a communication group of project partners and exchanging ideas about the process,

Providing information to students about other schools,

Determining project rules with the participation of teachers and students,

Preparation of project introduction video,

Organization of online meeting with teacher and student participation,

Design and voting on logo and poster

Final Product

Creation of a common e-book on "Passport-free Travel in the World of eTwinning". Students will be free to write stories. They will write their own original stories about the country they virtually visited and researched and place them on the final slide page. The e-book will be shared online on the final product page on May 15, 2025.
